As to the model predictive control for five-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), it is difficult ensure optimal performance by using calculation method obtain weighting factor. To solve this problem, a cascade current based on idea of sequential proposed PMSM first time. Firstly, principle selecting voltage vector analyzed in detail.
